Thank You

Thank you  to all descendants of Jean Baptiste and Caroline Laplante who came to our second family reunion.As most of you know Jean Baptiste and Caroline had 16 children. Three of his children descendants were at the the reunion: Michael & Sophie (Laplante) McMahon, Denis & Caroline (Labelle)Laplante and Alexandre & Abegail (Brown) Laplante. Also some descendant of  Antoine Belair as we know some of his children married into the Laplante family.  Three Family tree was set up on Sat. McMahon, Laplante, Belair/Laplante/Diel.

I am writing this to thank everyone for coming and I hope you all enjoy the weekend. Want to thank all my helpers from Micheline and her helpers who kept the children amused  from face painting,fish pond etc.  John Secord for his wonderful music on Sat. Am sure everyone enjoy your music.    Flo.Audette for her Texas horseshoe on Sat. morning.    We also a Penny sale, Food Booth  Also on Sat. Ed Gareau had a white elephant sale.Set-up crew Andre, Roger and helpers. Roger & his helpers who welcome all at registration table. Thank you everyone for your help and for coming.

Well I hope everyone enjoy their weekend with us and there be many more to come. Many of us made friends with  new cousins that weekend,address were exchange and hopefully we can stay in contact between gathering.Even the children didn't want to leave their new friends.
